Sustainable rebirth of an office building

The Regeneris project concerns the total renovation of the Genève IV office building, located at the corner of avenue Léopold III and rue de Genève in 1140 Brussels. Herpain Urbis opted for heavy-duty renovation rather than for reconstruction so as to reduce CO2 emissions and the volume of material waste.

Regeneris covers nearly 19,500 m² of office space spread over 13 floors. The aim of the project is to reduce the construction’s carbon footprint by consuming less thanks to a high-performance structure and the use of low-energy technology.

The renewal of the façades aims to provide the building with high-performance thermal insulation, to improve flexibility in the office repartition and to bestow a new elegance upon the building.
