Energy and environmental performance
The planned renovation will allow for large-scale improvements to be made in terms of energy performance.
Regeneris will be certified BREEAM, which is the most used Environmental Assessment Method for buildings around the world.
The high level of the building’s glazed façades, coupled with solar screens, will allow for the optimisation of natural light, ensuring the reduction in the need for heat and artificial light. Additionally, the automatically controlled, high-performance lighting allows for a considerable reduction in electricity consumption.
In addition to the numerous sustainable development aspects detailed in the BREEAM certification, to which this project is subject, the energy performance goals have been fixed at E<70 and K<30. Regeneris is also referenced on www.sustenergy.org.
