Solaris
The first Valideo-certified building
Having received the Eco-Building Award 2009 and the MIPIM Award 2010 in recognition of its environmental qualities, Solaris is the first Valideo-certified building (analysis according to a global approach on four themes, i.e. site, management, comfort and social value) with a score of 78%. The building is equipped with a solar photovoltaic façade and a geothermal heat pump.
Designed by the architectural office Assar, Solaris provides 13,700 m² of office space spread over eight levels. It has four underground levels for 196 cars. The open work spaces range from 1,600 m² to 1,900 m² and offer a high degree of occupancy flexibility. Two atria rise up over three floors and let in a great deal of natural light.
Located at the edge of the Forêt de Soignes, Solaris is easily accessible, both by car and by public transport. It is situated in a pleasant neighbourhood, offering a whole host of varied and complementary services, such as restaurants, local shops and areas for sport and relaxation.
