Veridis
Energy and environmental performance
Veridis is subject to Valideo certification that rigorously addresses the various aspects of sustainable construction. Due to its intrinsic characteristics, the building has a low rate of energy consumption thanks to high-performance envelope and energy-saving technologies such as ventilation based on an energy recovery wheel and automatically regulated low-luminance lighting. The building offers measured flexibility for occupants so as not to oversize the lighting. The working environment is partially predetermined which allows for the optimisation of lighting consumption.
Emphasis is equally placed on the use of materials that are less energy-consuming, recyclable, locally produced, healthier and that require less maintenance.
Drinking water management has been developed thanks to a better control of facilities and to the installing of low-flow and reduced-pressure devices. Rainwater is collected and covers 40% of all sanitary needs and the internal and external maintenance of the building.
